Our little Munchkin is two months old today. I am enjoying her so much right now. She gives me lots of smiles and is starting to coo. She loves her swing, and sleeps so well in it. Like both boys she enjoys being on the changing table. I remember bringing a barstool into the nursery and just sitting by Cam because he was so happy just laying on it. Abby usually takes great naps during the day---her evening nap is a little tough, although she sleeps well in Chad's arms. Obviously Momma isn't as comfy to sleep on because she wants nothing to do with me for her evening nap. Luckily she will take a bottle, but prefers to nurse. I am nursing her much more that I did the boys. She's not a cuddler, likes to be held looking out. This month Abby is doing much better just laying on a blanket on the floor. The boys are usually in her face when I put her down, so it's good entertainment for her. If an infant can display a talent at such an early age--I would say her talent is spitting-up. We go through 4-5 spit cloths a day. And several outfits for the babe---I probably ought to change my shirt a time or two, but I hate laundry so I just deal with the wet and stink--luckily it's not formula stink. We are starting to put her to bed without the bink, which makes for up to an hour of crying (some nights none at all though). When we get that down we will not plug the bink at 1am, 2am, 3am and so on. But I am not strong enough to deal with middle of the night crying yet. From the day we brought her home from the hospital she has only been up once a night (around 4-5 am for a feeding). So if we can get rid of the bink I will be happy to feed her once.
We love this little girl and are looking forward to seeing her little personality come out more and more.
