One Wise Momma

That wise Momma is my mom.....I haven't earned the status of wise quite yet. When I had Cameron and was struggling, Mom said to me, "the only thing in life that is constant, is change." That little true-ism has helped me cope with the ups and downs of motherhood. I just think I have a baby's nap/feeding/nighttime schedule figured out and they go and change it on me. I just have to remember my child doesn't actually hate me---"the only constant in life is change". We have had a good change lately though. Chad had to pull an all-nighter at work a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to let Abby cry it out. I didn't have to worry about Chad and I watched a great movie---oh, Abby cried A TON that first night. It only took 3-4 nights and she was sleeping from 8-6:30. She wasn't quite ready for the day at 6:30, so we give her a bottle and she sleeps for another 1-2 hours. As I am knocking on wood I am so glad that we are able to get some solid sleep----for now.

"block-head"

She isn't quite big enough to figure out the gas pedal, so Chad used a big dowel to push it for her. She loves that tractor.
I was attempting to exercise one morning and Abby brought me Spencer's white t-shirt, so I put it on her. She came in a minute later with one of my sports bras hanging over her head. Then she got in the tool box and brought the safety goggles---she wore those around for the longest time. Funny girl.
