I just have to look at this sweet face when we are up for the 20th time in the night.
My sweet little Spencer has taken it upon himself the last 3 nights to truly prepare his parents for the arrival of his sister. We have been LUCKY to get 3 hours of straight sleep. Just like having a newborn, huh?! Spencer has not been 100% and he is suffering from the lack of sleep, but it is getting ridiculous, he isn't that sick. Still, what a sweet little boy to prepare us for what is to come---blech!!!
I love that little face!!! Especially because I don't have to get up with him! Oh, and have a ton of fun getting up with a newborn!! PLEASE have that baby this week or wait until I get home!!! PLEASE!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a kind, sweet boy to help you prepare for more sleep deprivation to come! :) What a wonderful helper. Hope you get to some more sleep soon and that Spencer is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteOh ya, my boys wake me up all the time. It is so irritating because I can handle it when it's a baby, someone who needs to eat. But a grown boy who just wants to make sure mom is listening drives me nuts. Gabe is the worst at this, he yells mom sometimes just to tell me he needs to go potty, or he wants me to turn on his music. I have started saying to them before they go to bed "who's gonna call for mom in the middle of the night?" They say "no one" Then I have some kind of reassurance that Annabelle is the only one that will wake me up!
ReplyDeleteGood luck having that new little Abby!
