EVERYBODY'S a Salesman

I'm a little bugged right now,,, and I figured, why not write about it. So here's my little gripe. We had our air conditioning serviced today. We have always been good about getting our A/C and furnace checked every 6 months because the A/C is 11 years old and the furnace was 22 years old. Well, last fall we bought a new furnace to the tune of $5000. It is a very nice furnace---at least that what the salesman told me (of course I did my own research and it really is a good unit).
As the technician was leaving he asked if we would like to continue on the service plan. I told him no thank you--I explained that the furnace is brand new and in the 8 years we have been here their fees have literally doubled. He immediately told me that he guarantees me we will be making a service call in the next 2 years if we don't have it checked each and every fall---some lines about the airflow and the room--blah blah blah. Which of course the salesman said would be no problem.
Isn't it interesting that when they are trying to get you to buy something ---It's the BEST unit around. Then once you purchase said unit--it's all about the SERVICE PLAN, because maybe this unit isn't as good as you thought. HHHHMMMM??? I will take my chances thank you very much.

But the sunstone (if possible) and the music one.. she is head of the music for the preformances. You can email me back at hulaclark@mac.com. Let me know if its possible. you don't have to get it exactly perfect, and if its not going to work, then that is toatally fine too! Thanks so much, and I am so sorry about your salesman, they really are bad... I had a guy at my house for over and hour trying to sell me a Kirby Vac which I told him before he came in that I didn't want. Just trying to sell a buck I guess! Thanks so much Heidi

  2. And if it did break down, your problem would of course NOT be covered by the plan. Small print, eh?
